Manhole Covers / Sealing Plates
GRP Manhole covers with frames are light weight and are superior to the conventional cast iron, Ductile iron and RCC covers, Al Safa GRP manhole covers are tested as per BS EN 124 1994 & AASHTO M306 standard for drainage and utility services. Our covers meet all requirements of the code.
Our covers are available in various standard sizes with load bearing capacity from 205 tons to 40 tons. They are available in round, squire and rectangular shapes with single and double sealing arrangements. Locking arrangements on the covers is also available on request.
GRP series products are mainly manufactured using synthetic resin and reinforced with glass fibre. We can supply various types of Sealing Plate.

Purpose:
Seal plates act a protective barrier against the ergres of odours and the corrosive properties if sewer gases, notably in countries where the temperatures are high. They can also prevent the ingress of sand of dirt and may limit the ingress of water in normal rainfall.
